Full Details on our "Design a Sign" contest:

We are looking for artwork to spruce up the meat market and we have a perfect spot for it.  To the left of our deli section, right above the window looking into our wholesale plant, we have a spot that is 2 feet high by 6 feet long. 

The Winning Design will win a $250 gift certificate to Farmingdale Meat Market.

Submissions will be accepted until March 13, 2010.  All submissions must be emailed to Lee@mainstreetmeats.com in jpg form.

Only the winning submission will be used.  All other submissions will not be used for any purposes.

By entering this contest, you grant us permission to use your artwork only if you are the winner.  If you are the winner your compenstaion will be a $250 gift certificate to Farmingdale Meat Market and Main Street Wholesale Meats.  No other compensation will be offered.

The winning submission will also be used on our website and in emails to our email list.  By entering this contest you grant us permission to use your submission in promotional and marketing materials as well.

Submissions will be accepted by email only.  Please email us a jpg file of your design to scale.  The final poster will be 2 feet high by 6 feet wide.  Your jpg should be scaled to those dimensions.  

We will take care of printing the sign and all costs associated with that.  The final sign/poster will be printed in full-color on banner-stock material.

You are at liberty to submit anything you want.  Your artwork can be photographs, a collage, text-based, abstract, graphics or anything else that moves you.  We have no limitations on what you submit for consideration.

You can submit multiple entries.  Up to five entries per person.

The prize will be awarded as a $250 gift certificate to Farmingdale Meat Market.  You DO NOT have to spend this all in one purchase.  You can utilize this $250 tab over the course of a whole year if you'd like.  

The $250 can be spent at our store in-person or we can arrange to deliver your meat by truck if you live on Long Island, in NYC, in Westchester or in Southwestern CT.  If you want us to deliver your meat by truck, we will subtract $5 per delivery from your $250 prize.  Again, if we deliver your meat by truck you don't need to spend the whole $250 in one shot, but we will subtract $5 for each delivery.

We can also ship the meat by FedEx to anywhere in the USA but the price of packaging and shipping will have to be deducted from your $250 prize.
